Winemaker's Notes
Rosé can be versatile, comfortable, fun, lively, easy, fresh, bright, delicious, and believe it or not, serious. Our 2007 La Rose is all of the above. The wine is a blend of Rhône varietals (Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre) grown at Lasseter Vineyards in Sonoma Valley. In keeping with our move towards natural farming methods all of the grapes for this wine were organically grown.

To produce our rosé we use the Saigneé method where fresh juice is bled off of the skins of red varieties soon after crush. The resulting wine is lightly colored, packed with fruit and drinkable at a young age.

The wine's brilliant youthful color is a prelude to its fresh, fruit-driven bouquet offering rose blossoms, strawberries and raspberries. It is soft, generous, refreshing and mouth-watering.
