Tasting Notes
With vibrant aromatics and stunning fruit flavors, our 2007 Pinot Blanc dazzles the nose and the palate. The wine is packed with aromas of ripe tropical fruit and subtle notes of hazelnut emanating from the French oak in which the wine was aged. The wine's green gold color is a perfect match for the lush aromas of ripe peach, along with pear, orange, lemon, melon, and honeysuckle. Intense, rich, mouth-coating flavors border on the decadent while maintaining a crisp structure. A lengthy, creamy finish enhances the wine's complexity.

About The Wine
This is our 15th consecutive vintage of Pinot Blanc. Since 1992, the fruit for this wonderful, limited production wine has been grown in Saralee's Vineyard, located in the Russian River Valley of Sonoma County. In this region, dense morning fog and long, cool days - exactly what is needed to make a great Pinot Blanc - result in fruit with intense flavors, rich textures and crisp acids.

The wine's hallmarks are its pure, mouth-coating layered flavors, subtle oak notes, and gorgeously rich mid-palate and texture. Arrowood 2007 Pinot Blanc, a wonderful wine to serve with food, pairs well with seafood, light-flavored meats and sauces, and mild-flavored cheeses. It is equally impressive to drink on its own.

The 2007 vintage yielded a very low tonnage, and only 246 cases were made. This means that a very limited number of bottles are available at the winery or through our wine club.
