Description
Originally planted in 1880, Monte Rosso Vineyard sits at an elevation of nearly 1,000 feet on the southwest hills of the Mayacamas Mountains in Sonoma Valley. Known for its bright red, iron-rich soils, we source from two blocks within this vineyard that makes up our dark, complex and intense Cabernet Sauvignon.

On the nose, this wine opens with complex aromas of fruit and earth. The wine truly reflects its sense of place with notes of resin, crushed volcanic rock, leathery black fruit, tar, and cherry. This leads into an intense and expressive entry on the palate that concludes with a long and flavorful finish.
